Questions, answered
How does booking work?
Choose your dates on the villa page to see the price. Pay the 30% deposit online (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link) and your dates are secured. The balance is due eight weeks before arrival; book within eight weeks and you pay in full at once.
What's included in the villa rental price?
The house, its pool and grounds, final cleaning, linen and towels. Prices include VAT.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel within 48 hours of booking, with arrival more than 48 hours away, and everything is refunded. After that the 30% deposit is non-refundable: cancel before your balance due date and only the deposit is kept; on or after it, the full rental cost applies. Cancel from your booking page, which shows the exact refund before you confirm. We recommend travel insurance.
Is there a security deposit?
If your villa carries one, a refundable security deposit is shown before you book, taken with your final payment and refunded 7 days after checkout, provided there is no damage, excess cleaning or breach of the house rules.
What are the check-in and checkout times?
Check-in from 16:00, checkout by 10:00, unless the villa's page says otherwise. Late checkout may be possible by arrangement with the owner.
Is there support during my stay?
Yes. Every villa has a local manager, and our concierge desk can arrange transfers, chefs and charters before or during your stay.
Can I rent a villa for a long stay?
Many of our houses take bookings of a month or more outside peak season, often at weekly rates. Tell us your dates and we'll quote directly.
Who am I booking with?
Sunlit Villas is the trading name of Sunlit Keys Ltd, a UK company acting as booking agent for the owners of privately-owned villas in Cyprus. Your contract and your payment are with us, and we're reachable at office@sunlitvillas.com throughout.
